Started the corn off early this year in a raised bed with windbreak stretched around it. At one end there is a trellis with cucumbers growing up ( counted 5 this morning ) then a block of corn, a centre trellis with yellow and green pole beans producing madly another block of corn and at the far end more green pole beans.  The corn is well over 6 foot high and has flowered the cobs are forming. I used a raised garden bed based on the Esther Deans method of layering a no dig garden and its wonderful. Grandkids are all eagerly awaiting the first pick of the corn.

These are the next two gardens that had tomaotes runnung rampant and I have stretched wire netting to the back fence and trained the tomatoes up so my bell peppers, tat soi, lettuce  and beetroot have room to grow. Had a huge crop of tomatoes last time i grew them like this and theres already lots on the plants. Have a range of varieties from the cherry type to the larger meaty tomatoes.  Thers a lso a couple of chilli plants in there, got to have my chilli.
These are my potatoes growing incredibly well. There's a mixture of white rocket and purple Urenika spuds. It's time to earth them up and also pack some straw around them.  The next garden is pretty bare right now, just pulled out the silver beet that was flowering and setting seed. Have used the wire to create a tunnel shape that stands almost six feet tall and have planted pole beans and a couple more Lebanese cucmbers to grow up and over it and also some radish and courgettes in the middle spaces. Looks very empty right now

This is a pic of one of the beautiful aloe that I was given by a friend. There are 17 all together and I have planted them in the garden strip that runs along the side of the house by the back door. Hopefully I will end up with a glorious mass of aloe similar to the ones my friend has.
